Topic: Cheap USB router

Hello, I want to configure a Ampache music server on my LAN. I want a USB router, if is possible a cheap one.

I am looking for "Fonera 2.0g" (https://shop.fon.com/FonShop/shop/ES/Sh … ct=PRD-020), is it a good choice?

Thanks for all!

I don't have nor use a FON 2.0g Wifi router. However, when it comes to CHEAP, you get what you pay for.

The WLU-500g by asus is cheap ($40 usd, so 1/3 less than the WRT54GL) and has USB. It's a little cramped on flash and ram, but workable for what you are doing.

Your link is broken too, but IIRC the fonera 2.0 is around 100 dollars.

For $100 or less, one can get a much better N-WiFi router, i.e. ASUS RT-N16 (128MB RAM with two USB2 ports).

The discussion might have continued from here.
