Topic: VPN server & Windows AD

The content of this topic has been archived on 18 Apr 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I was just introduced to OpenWrt by a friend and had a few questions before I jumped in.

I am currently running a windows 2003 server Active directory domain and am thinking about using OpenWrt as a firewall / Packet shaper and would also like it to be my VPN gateway.

After searching the forums I know that this is possible but I was wondering if I could have it get the authentication from the AD.

Thanks for your help.

Install Radius (It is in RRAS) to your domain. Configure the VPN server to use Radius.

RRAS is installed, do you know where a good how-to for setting up VPN is?

(im trying to get everything together before i start)
