I have a Fonera 2201 never used, still new in box with all its accessories.
I'd like to swap it with a Seagate Dockstar in the same new conditions.

Well, could be, in this case I will just leave the Fonera in its box and drop 40$ to buy a Dockstar from the ebay...not a big problem

Honestly, I don't have any idea how one is willing to swap out his/her Seagate DockStar with any FON devices. However, I believe every now and then you shouldn't have a problem to find an inexpensive Seagate DockStar for less then US$20 through a Google search.
