Topic: Atheros AR7161+AR8021 Gigabit ethernet problem

The content of this topic has been archived on 22 Mar 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

The port(eth1) connected to gigabit ethernet can't send data.
I use "ping" to check the connection. It always timeout.
When the giagabit ethernet cable pluged in the board, system also show :
eth1: link up (1000Mbps/Full duplex)
br-lan: port 1(eth1) entering forwarding state

My platform refer to Atheros AP96.AR8021 is gigabit ethernet phy.

And it is connected to 100M ethernet is ok.(everything is ok in 100M)
I have no idea where need be modified to let 1000M work.
Help me!

Besides, Should I care "ar71xx_eth1_pll_data.pll_1000" value?

I'm 99% sure it's the pll value. Check the the datasheets of the ar7161 and ar8021 to find out what the correct value is.
