Hi all,

Excuse me, but I am very  greenhorn in this issues.
I have a lot of troubles when try to install rc3 on Linux, most then is about to compile (i.e.  make errors on libnvram ). So, I would like to know how Linux distro I have to use to obtain success, because someone tells me to use make 3.8 , but I can´t upgrade successfully the rpm packages because the dependences.

If someone can tell me what linux and packages I have to use, I´ll be glad.

Thanks a lot.

Joron.

I'm not too sure what your trying to do here but it sounds like your trying to install rc3 on a linux distro.  OpenWrt (whiterussian rc3) is distro all on its own for use with a list of hardware (see http://wiki.openwrt.org/TableOfHardware).  It may not suite you well to install it on your already up and running linux distro.

If you are trying to custom compile an image or packages to load onto your router then see http://wiki.openwrt.org/ImageBuilderHowTo and http://wiki.openwrt.org/BuildingPackagesHowTo

At worst look through some of OpenWrt's documentation http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/About

Hope this helps.
