HI Folks!

I have experimented around with an Buffalo WHR-HP-G300N and openwrt.
As Ecxpected i bricked it after two days. Looks like i am Talented ^^.
I have found the connector settings by googling them:

I have ordered this Adapter fur usb : (i am pretty sure i have the right one)

I am totaly new to serial flashing. But i Think i am a little fit whats up with linux.
So my question is, do i have to connect the 3.3v connector also?
Have the device to be powered up during process?
I can barely imagine how it works then.

- bringing up eth0?
- wget´n an Image to flash via mtd? or tftp?

Is an Tutorial out there which tells me how to do?
Found only device specifics. Not feeling fit enough by reading this!

Thanks for reading!
Stephan

So OpenWRT will not work on the device?

Are you able to link to the dd-wrt information which explained this please?
