hello everyone

i cant telnet into my siemens speedstream 5450.
i am using win xp.
so when i go to a command promt and type telnet 192.168.254.254 it says that it cant connect on port 23.
what should i do?
the ip adres of my router is:192.168.254.254.
the ip adres of my pcs are 192.168.254.1 and 192.168.254.2

the router has been update to the latest siemens firmware.
could i change it to openwrt?
