Dear all,
I'm not an IT but I like to play a bit with IT things.
We are about 20pax sharing 1 internet connection with 10GB/month.
I have installed Coovaap (that runs on white russian
---------
Firmware Version CoovaAP Firmware - version 1.0 beta.12 - Copyright (c) 2011 - based on WHITE RUSSIAN (0.9+)
Kernel Version Linux version 2.4.30 (dbird@dbird) (gcc version 3.4.4 (OpenWrt-1.0)) #1 Tue Sep 25 18:56:12 CEST 2007

my idea is to set the hot spot and be able to:
create users (ok with the coova)
limit the Mb downloaded per day or per week (no big deal in controlling bandwidth) and cut off the connection when limit reached
eventually check or limit the web pages that can be surfed but is not a must and I don't like to sniff into my friends business online
Coovaap is great untill the user managment but I'm now stuck into download limitation.
I read about connlimit or freeradius and mysql, patch the kernel and so on but could not get anything out of the hole; i'm not a big
is there any available module, .ipk packege, openwrt distro that can help me easily?
I've already spent a week to make the wrt54gl working and my time for this hobby is running short before I have to give up at least for the moment.
hints and links are welcome
thanks!!!
