Topic: Switch splitting + ipsec client => Dedicated VPN port - possible ?

Hi

I was considering something like this.

1) Splitting the LAN switch, so that ports 1-3 gets one device and port 4 another one.

2) Setting up an ipsec client that connects to my Works VPN server and "forwards" all VPN traffic to port 4

After this it should be possible to connect my laptop to port 4, and it will always be online to my company network using VPN...

...is this possible, or...?

yes this is possible and trivial to do :}

I have build such a setup for a customer some time ago.

Any chance that you could reveal a few details ?

Splitting the Switch and also setting up the VPN client I consider to be straight forward...

But what about binding the VPN connection to that specific LAN interface, is that straight forward as well ?

Yes, wbx - can you further elaborate on your script for this, please?
