I am using a board with atheros 9350 chipset and would like to pickup the uboot-ar71xx from the trunk.  I am running backfire due to various reasons and need to stick with backfire. Currently backfire compiles older version of the uboot (2009) which doesn't support ar71xx.  I would appreciate if some one can help me in this regards. The questions I have is:

1. scripts/feeds doesn't update the uboot as its on backfire and feeds only gets the latest uboot for backfire. So how do you get the package from trunk into backfire?

2. How do you make sure that the new uboot is then compiled instead of the old one. I don't see anything in make menuconfig that specifies which version of uboot to compile.

I am assuming there will be some issues since the linux versions are different between the two (backfire vs trunk).
