Topic: Webcam is recognized, but i need further help

Hello!

I ask you for help installing a webcam to my 1043nd:

i plug my Creative webcam into the usb port of my openwrt device, it is recognized correctly, but i dont know why there is no device under /dev/videoX

i followed some tutorials (openwrt e.g) but i dont know what i am doing wrong..has someone an idea how to go on?

packets i installed already:

kmod-usb2
kmod-video-uvc
kmod-i2c-core
kmod-input-core
mjpg-streamer

can you share dmesg info here..?

sorry for he delayed answer:

after 4 hours of testing and investigating my problem i was finnaly able to add my webcam as dev/video0

I was missing the v4l2 packet AND the driver for my cam. Both were not mentioned in the wiki, so that i will add these information for other users!
