Topic: How to share USB Drive through LAN and WAN with FTP and Samba?

Hi,

As the title suggest I want to share my USB connected to my Netgear WNDR3700 running 'OpenWrt Attitude Adjustment r32665' through both LAN and WAN.
I need user control and preferably I want to have a read/write account and a read-only account.

I already set up a samba share but I can't connect with my Mac, I get the error 'The operation can’t be completed because the original item for “USB” can’t be found.'

Can someone help me please with a step-by-step explanation (especially when firewall rules are involved).
