the same thing happened to my wr703n router newly purchased. the version on the shell is Ver:1.6
i uploaded the "openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr703n-v1-squashfs-factory.bin" file (r34679 snapshot) from web interface. after rebooting, can't telnet to 192.168.1.1 now, and the wifi isn't working. ttl console print is:

so i decided go back to the original image. in the uboot, ping is not work, but tftp is ok.the fix processing is:
