I`m new here and I do not know if I'm right here with my post. But i have a simple question.
Is there planned a firmware for Linksys E1200 v1 ?
Ich have such a router. This is actually running with dd-wrt but i don`t like it very much. Better than the original one but not fine. Can somebody answer this question. I`d would like to trunk two openwrt routers.

Does sombody running openwrt on a Linksys E1200 router ?

I just purchased this router on ebay, I would like to also request Openwrt being ported to this router. It seems that it has already been done by the DD-WRT team, openwrt just has to play catch up at this point.

the default image uses foss wifi driver and no luci.  you can use image generator to build a custom image

make image PROFILE=Broadcom-wl PACKAGES=luci

If you are interested in support for WiFi in BCM5357B0, keep watching wireless-next.git for b43 changes and b43-dev mailinglist for discussion/patches.

It should be implemented one day.

How could I tell on the git link... It look to technical.

Well, you can for example open http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/b43/soc and see that BCM5357B0 is N-PHY rev 9 with radio 0x2057 rev 5.
Then you can open link http://lists.infradead.org/pipermail/b4 … 03511.html and see I just managed to run b43 with radio 0x2057 rev 9.

It means support for BCM5357B0 is pretty close. I even have it working locally, but the speed is only about 6 Mb/s, so I need to improve it first.

I see that the trunk is newly compiled and now the router is broken out into MIPS section....
