Topic: Enable Luci (uhttpd) during Build

The content of this topic has been archived on 17 Apr 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I have been going through the process of building OpenWRT myself for my wndr3800.  I have added Luci to the build instead of as a module.  My problem is that I can't seem to find out how to have uhttpd enabled by default.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Packages built-in the images are enabled by default. You can't change this.

Ok, but I did compile it into the firmware and it is not enabled when I flash it.  Actually, uhttpd is not, so the web interface is unavailable.

My own builds always did come with uhttpd enabled by default.
I just set Luci as built-in package, compiled and flashed to the router.
Once it reboots, Luci is there and working without any additional config.

Ok, I got it going.  Thanks for the help.  FYI, I was loading the wrong bin file.  Stupid me!
