Hi!

I'm new to OpenWrt and this was my frist time that I put openWrt into AP.

AP is WAP54G version 3

I put openwrt-wap54g-squashfs.trx file thru web interface of orginal frimware and things gone right.
I set pass and access AP thru putty and later thru web setup where I see that channel range is 1 to 11
wich was not good for me my part of wireless network is on 12 ch, then on web I found that I can change
channel range by entering in nvram set wl_country=all  and after commit i have bricked AP with non working LAN port but Wifi was working but not accessable.

I try with shorting pin 15 to ground (flash is sst 39vf1601) and that was give lan access for two times but nofting was
changed after tftp orginal frimware into AP I can just say that even more bricked.

I made seriall adapter with max232 and sucessfuli conected to console from what I see that my AP do not see any network interface. AP give not such device mesage after changing some variables in nvram AP give this on console

So I think that problem is in nvram
I stil don't get link up on lan port and can't ping it
If somebody have nvram list of this AP I wuld most aprised that kind of help.
here is my nvram

Soory on my bad english an on this long post

Thanks in advance

It looks like flash image is corrupted. Just reflash by CFE commands http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Tro … 431112c34e
You can find NVRAM defaults at CFE partition of flash. If you clear or corrupt NVRAM area (flashing something else into) defaults will load instead.
If nothing helps you probably destroyed address line by ESD or shorting to something else than GND.

To Samot

I'm allredy read that and try but I don't have any working lan access to tftp flash into wap54g

how I can find defult nvram setings in CFE partition on flash

how clear or corupt NVRAM in wich adress space is NVRAM exacly

and what ESD stands for

Me again

I'm posting that I managed to debrick my AP with jtag and help from Pavel Kamburov from Linksysinfo.org

I put again OpenWRT inside to see if will hapenn again.

wish me a luck! :)
