Topic: New Guide for Bitcoin Mining

Thank you for this guide. It helped me on my way to make my ASIC run satisfactorily.

I figured out that using your command line for startup makes my router refusing from creating a WAN to LAN connection. This is because it hangs in focussing the bfgminer program. Adding a '&' at the end of the mining-command makes everything work fine for me. Maybe someone had the same issue.

Yes it seems that while pasting it in the script became malformed, my mistake.   Thank you for posting this it should now be fixed.

After posting this guide a week later the creator of BFGMiner update the official openwrt readme to include the missing commands for installing the kernel drivers.  smile

He also states in the readme you can submit an issue to possibly get a package created for currently unsupported hardware.
I wonder if I can get him to create a package including the libmicrohttpd so its easier to use openwrt with ASIC blades.  Will submit a ticket today and find out.

*update* its coming with 3.2.2

Have you successfully compiled cpuminer? I used your Makefile and got

configure.ac:114: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_MSG_ERROR
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.

Hello, I have wifi pineapple mk.4 router, is it possible for running Bitcoin miner?

Will be good to write more information how to compile CPU miner. I am interested on AR71xx cpu's.

Hy ! How can i run bfgminer/other under (only) a router TL-WR1043ND v1 ?

The discussion might have continued from here.
