Is there a compiled version of this somewhere?  I don't mind trying it out and possibly bricking my router.

What hardware version is your router?

I have version B

I had to make a new build environment since the source is a little on the old side. Here is an initial sanity check build in which all options should be default. I'm working on getting a build with a shell enabled right now.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/routert … n/download

Here's a build where telnet should be enabled, file came out around the same size but it's probably just a config option to enable telnet as the router does come with busybox on stock http://sourceforge.net/projects/routert … n/download try the other one first to make sure these are being built correctly then flash this after and try to connect with a telnet client.

It uploaded successfully... however, it caused my router to go straight to ROUTER RECOVERY MODE.

Fortunately, I was expecting this, so had the original firmware ready.

D-Link DIR-655, REV B1, FIRMWARE REV 2.11NA

Is there any update for the Dir-655, I have try to update these two firmware. Seems it is the D-link offical Firmware.
I'm also have two Dir-655, one is B1, and one is A4.

How to flash this firmware? Or just upload it in D-link firmware webpage?
The D-link original firmwares crashe very often. It almost drives me crazy.
My device is D-Link DIR-655, REV B1, FIRMWARE REV 2.09NAb013

How do I flash this firmware?
Do I just upload the .bin file on D-link FIRMWARE UPGRADE webpage?
