since i am very interested in exploring the inside of wireless routers supported by openwrt,i want to be a member of openwrt and give my own contribution to this community.need i pass some test or confirmation to be a developer?pls tell me ,waiting on line

There is no need to be OpenWRT developer - just start compiling/modifying the OpenWRT code and post patches for inclusion to the OpenWRT main tree.
but where to get the documents of the hardware,such as cpu and so on.
