I just saw an interesting package here (https://downloads.openwrt.org/barrier_b … d/generic/) called

uboot-kirkwood-goflexhome/

I would like to install openwrt on my equipment but I do not know how to do it. Of course, I consulted the wiki (http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/seagate/goflexhome) but no installation instructions.

Someone should put it kindly update the wiki or to explain the procedure to be followed (I work under windows 7 environment with PuTTY)

Are you sure you want openwrt on that?
I have a Seagate Dockstar (99.9% same hardware as yours), it runs Debian very nicely, it's much better for this device that openwrt, think that Openwrt is meant for routers.

Yes i am sure I tried OpenWrt on one of my TP Link MR 3020 and it fits my needs perfectly. Now i want 1To Hard Drive with sata, an RJ45 GigaLan, an Acces Point wifi, an Acces Point bluetooth.

and above all I want LuCI (in french) running on lighttpd (+ SSL + php5 i want install a local dokuwiki on rootfs and use hard drive of goflex home to store the data's folder + fail2ban) to manage all (like local hostname "Intranet")

Also i have request to how manage connections on Hotspot with LuCI (customer of free.fr, customer of bouygue.fr, customer of sfr.fr, customer of b-and-you.fr etc... )

But before ... how install OpenWrt on Seagate Goflex Home since the original firmware?

It seems the same procedure, there are minor hardware differences between GoFlex Net and Home, 2nd sata port and maybe the LEDs.
BTW  Goflex Home arcnumber is 3338

I can finally buy a USB cable series (I had broken the system) and after a year of waiting I installed the 15.05 release. I have some minor bug as the green light for the network card is not working.
