Have someone installed openwrt on it? It should be exact copy of asus wl-hdd 2.5?
This device looks very interesting, it has 60gb 4200rpm with 2mb cache 2.5'' hdd already installed and it costs about twice as wl-hdd (in europe).

Just as you say, this is an ASUS WL-HDD with a 60Gig pre-installed Harddrive.

OpenWrt should work like a charm in there.

I just installed white russian rc5 on one using tftp in failsafe mode, using the procedure described on http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Har … s/Flashing

I actually got one of these for EUR 50 on eBay, thinking that it was a ASUS WL-HDD.  Was a bit surprised by the weight until I opened it and discovered the hdd :-)
