Topic: How to be a LuCI developer?

The content of this topic has been archived on 4 Apr 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I have been working on LuCI for about several months. I am not familiar with it. I figure out its frame work, read most of its source code. Say it is easy for me to change something of it.But it is some sort of passive mode which means I need some motivation for me to actively develop. I am sure I does't go deep enough , and I need learn more. So I wonder how I can play part in the developing game of LuCI , learning from others and developing.

Yeah, I have registered the mail list.  I just ask if there other path.

Thank you in advance.

good luck

I am wondering the same thing, I do not understand all its framework but i would like to.
I have almost completed a theme for LUCI which i have made work on cross-platforms so it works pretty well on large mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers.
I am also part of a group that has modified Luci and openwrt to include 3G and 4G modems for a lot of routers + usb storage usage and Multiwan etc.

Checkout my video its a bit long but shows off the theme, skip to 2:45 min if you want to skip the website part.

Good for you. I will go on with LuCI. Maybe for a long time, some months perhaps. Can we discuss some ?

The discussion might have continued from here.
