Topic: Use USB's D+ and D- as GPIO. Is it possible?

Hi!

I wonder, if it's possible to change D+ / D- operation mode from USB to GPIO.

I my case I have TL-WR703N (and also Hame MPR-A2 is on the way from china).
I want to connect an ADC board that needs just 2 pins to communicate (that one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Force-Module-Du … 9042e6d1).

If this would be possible, I could just connect this board direct to USB socket. And this would make it much easier for many people - there's no need to open the router or make any small soldering.

Well, I've checked the datasheet of RA-5350f (Hame MPR-A2), it's not possible to change USB pin's mode to GPIO. However, this is possible for UARTs TX-RX pins, that can be useful in some cases.
Probably it's the same for Atheros AR7240.

The discussion might have continued from here.
