i recently acquired an GL.iNET Router.

It has 5 easily accessible GPIOs.

i already know how to access the gpios to e.g. light up some leds.

is it possible to define these LEDs somehow in OpenWRT to add them to the already existing LEDs in the LUCi GUI and use them e.g. for network traffic ?

i already checked the wiki, but i only learned how to make the stock LEDs flash in specific patterns.

You need to add your LED definitions in target/linux/ar71xx/files/arch/mips/ath79/mach-gl-inet.c and compile your firmware image.

thanx, of course i hoped i can configure that in software.
