Topic: NoCatSplash: splash works, redirect doesn't, am I missing something?

The content of this topic has been archived on 30 Mar 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

Just installed OpenWrt on a WRT54G and it appears to be working OK.

However, my main goal is getting NoCat gateway working, and something seems amiss.
Only packages Ive added are nocatsplash and nas.
The initial splash screen comes up with the login button.
But after that is clicked, nothing happens.(but it apparently logged in at that point)
Its supposed to kick you to the redirect home page.
If I click login again, it then goes to my original browser home page.

Am I missing a config somewhere or another package?

I've uzed ZoneCD before, and that seems to work for splash and redirect.
This is my first time with OpenWrt.

Thanks for any help

Update: still broken.

I even tried this link;
http://nocat.net/~sderle/README.OpenWRT

That one didn't even work at all with the splash, connections went right out with no login requirement.

Still trying various packages, even ones included in the above link, all to no avail.
Splash works with the default nocatsplash package loaded, but redirect doesn't.

I just went through the same problem. There's a good walk through available at :

One thing I did notice is that I had to click on the link twice in splash.html to get the redirect to work...
