Hello,
I installed OpenWrt on the router some weeks ago and it worked perfekt. Then, after having problems with dpkg, I simply wanted to reflash the firmware.
After several failed TFTP flash and "reset to default" tries (hours, days...) I solderd the serial adapter to get access to it. Perfekt! I just flashed openwrt-wrt54gs-squashfs.bin and also openwrt-brcm-2.4-squashfs.trx. Was not shure which one is the wright after all that troubles...
But now to my problem.
During start I see messages like "jffs2_scan_eraseblock(): Magic bitmask 0x1985 not found at 0x00200b20: 0x0001 inwas in progress, however operation cT Initializi"
Why jffs2? I selcted the squashfs image.

I tried mtd erase OpenWrt without any result.
Whats the correct Image for this Siemens SE505 (Belkin 7230)?
Why is there a jffs2 on the router?
How can I correct the nvram i/o error?
Rescue mode is working but what to do there?
Thanks in advance Gerhard
