Topic: RC5: what is the NAT table size?

The content of this topic has been archived on 6 May 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I want to compare OpenWRT with some other products.
(I have two D-Link boxes (DI-604 and DI-804HV) that work well under lighter load only...)

This is Linux. Do you mean connection table size for routing?  There are going to be more factors than table size.

But, if you must:
root@hazel:~# cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_conntrack_max
5953

You would probably do better to ask yourself, what am I doing that is crushing this cheap router? And if my load is intense why am I using a $50 router?

Yes, but rumours are that D-Link's boxes have very small NAT tables (not more than 500 entryes)...
So I was curious.

I'm completely happy with WRT54GL OpenWRT RC5.
