Hello there.
i have a problem with router Linksys WRT-54GL 1.1
The router was in my fahters house and it was runniing for a liong time. I have no idea what firmware it is using. THe problem is as follow:
when i plug the power cable in all of leds light on. NOONE BLINKS. Few seconds after that all of them goes off. I cant ping router from anywhere.
When i take the power cable off and plug it again ALL of the leds light on for short and after that they light off again

i tryed 30 / 30 / 30 reset but its not help.

The serial console should show you how much the device is still alive:

If you have the option, check that its PSU still provides its nominal voltage under load. These cheap PSUs easily break over time (can't hold the voltage in use), making that a common error condition - and pretty much the only one which might still be worth fixing considering the age and slowness of the device involved (but only if you can be sure that it's really 'just' the PSU).
no network connection .. no ping .. no nothing. I tryed another power supply. The router just goes down after few seconds.
i still dont wanna do short cuts on pin 16
