According to

the flash size of version 2 has been reduced to 4MB compared to 8MB in version 1.2.
As a result the firmware image
https://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots … actory.bin
has just about half the size of version 1.2.

I contacted TP-Link support and they assured, the flash in version 2 is also and definitely 8MB.
Question is: What must be changed in the Makefiles to reflect this 8MB and make a larger image with more packages available?

It seems that v2.1 has 8 MB FLASH, but v2.0 is definitely 4 MB: https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php … 19#p262919

Can you please correct the ToH and the device pages?

There are a number of version and flash value discrepancies between the 2 pages.  I think there also is a need to ADD a new version for 2.0 or 2.x depending on how the existing pages are edited.

Thanks for the clarification, you are right. I added a serial console and can confirm, 4MB.
Obviously the TP-Link hotline had the wrong information.
