Topic: WAN Interface not working

OK, so after setting the router back up, I can now telnet into it, and get an IP, however the router will not use DHCP to get an IP from my Cable Modem.  I have a WRT54G 1.1, and after making sure that my settings where the same as here:

http://openwrt.org/OpenWrtNVRAM

However, I did make a change.  Instead of:

vlan0hwname=et0
vlan0ports= 1 2 3 4 5

I changed vlan0 to vlan2, and managed to get the router to boot faster.  However, I'm wondering if vlan1 is supposed to be for LAN on this router and vlan2 is supposed to be for the WAN.  I have no idea why I'm not able to get an IP on the WAN interface.

Any ideas?

So, I tried switching the vlan settings, and that turned out to be totally useless.  I suspect that there is something wrong with the nvram, because every time I try and bring up the wan, this is what happens:

@OpenWrt:/# ifup wan
@OpenWrt:/# info, udhcpc (v0.9.9-pre) started
debug, Sending discover...
debug, Sending discover...
debug, Sending discover...
info, No lease, forking to background.

Now, it should get a lease since I have the Cable Modem plugged into the WAN port.  Any ideas?
