Hi ALL,

Using uqmi proto to connect on internet is working fine.
However, Im having a problem with Option GTM689W to enable GPS.
Whenever i execute AT_OGPSMODE=1 im getting a return ERROR.
Is there any way or tools to execute the AT commands?

Below is the info of the Device.

Hi Neyba,

Thanks for the reply.

ATI
Manufacturer: Option nv
Model: Option GTM689W

OK
AT_OGPS=3,5
ERROR

Many Vendors product Gobi 3000, so is this responds for standard Option AT commands? for example AT_ORESET. Maybe GPS features disabled on current modem firmware.

Hi Neryba,

ati
Manufacturer: Option N.V.
Model: GTM382
Revision: 1.7.0.0Hd (Date: Nov 26 2008, Time: 13:38:19)

Do you know how to update firmware for this Revision number?

Thanks,

i already have GPS running.

AT_OGPSP=7,2
OK

AT_OGPSLS=1,"supl.google.com:7276"

OK
AT_OGPSCONT=1,"IP","etisalat.ae"
OK
AT_OGPS=2

OK
but as you can see no gps fix.

as the manual said:
A-GPS uses assistance data to get faster to a first fix (faster TTFF).
In most cases, this data is received using an internet/data connection.

Is it maybe because of the firmware Revision: 1.7.0.0Hd? because there is already Revision: 2.9.5.0Hd.

Try two different antennas passive and active. or find  some AT command to enable power for active GPS antenna.
