Trunks firm works all leds but no space for luci

EDIT: Flashing trunk, then shalzz95 build via sysupgrade terminal does all leds work
Maybe shalzz95 build has config problem?

I have rebuilt the image from the top of the chaos_calmer tree with luci.
All led bugs should be fixed.

Error code: 18005

...version of the upgrade file was incorrect. Please check the filem name."

Have you used tftp method? Have you renamed file to wr841nv11_tp_recovery.bin ?

There is very detailed video guide how to do that, look for "Bricked TP-Link WR841N/ND Recovery Unbrick Without A Serial Connection" on youtube (I'm not allowed to send links)

I have the same router (eu version), just installed shalzz95's firmware image, seems to be working fine.

I flashed my router with openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr841-v11-squashfs-factory.bin (LuCi is not work)
then I

cd /tmp
wget **link to openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr841n-v11-squashfs-factory.bin**
mtd -r write /tmp/openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr841n-v11-squashfs-factory.bin firmware

After that all works... testing....
I writed my massage from: OpenWrt Chaos Calmer 15.05.1 r49389 / LuCI for-15.05 branch (git-17.013.32081-d89b022)

cd /tmp
wget **link to openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr841n-v11-squashfs-factory.bin**
mtd -r write /tmp/openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr841n-v11-squashfs-factory.bin firmware

Can someone tell me the link to a firmware with build in GUI? Because i can't install luci because of the no space left.

sysupgrade -v openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr841n-v11-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

Hello, I'm new to openwrt. I bought a random tp-link this week end to create a bridge. It happens to be a v11 (would have picked a better one if possible but I only discovered openwrt afterward...).

I've tried all tutorials (wifi & forum) and several openwrt versions (this one & trunk v11) to set the bridge up.

But to no avail...

The setup gives no error (can create all interfaces, and join the wifi from the main router) but in the end there is no communication between the main router and the other side of the bridge. Devices aren't managed by main router dhcp, and even with static ip I get no internet connection. The main router is an orange livebox.

It works with the tp link firmware.

Maybe there's a deeper issue with the v11 ?

The two firmware provided by you and those provided by wiki in Instalaltion section
are the same ?

forget about it, i downgraded the original firmware to the moded unlocked one and then install the lede openwrt firm for v11. tks anyway.

telmocosta how do you moded and unlocked original firmware?
I try to install openwrt but all times say the router :

I suppose that you have a V11 hardware

You have to downgrade your firmware using this patched firmware  by NeDark

And later you can upgrade to anyone Openwrt (or DDWRT) firmware

yes I have V11 router

the modificated fw is working, but I install factory bin, and the luci doesn't start
I do half brick
because the dhcp server is working...
I try install generic/openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr841-v11-squashfs-factory.bin
Now I think should have try sysupgrade.bin not factory.bin

now my next problem, how I start LUCI or how upgrade another bin?
I read wiki.openwrt tl-wr841nd and I see only serial port use next upgrade...

Now I reading and reading more post... I try to install LUCI

so I try to connect ma router via telnet, but connection refused
I try ssh  and yes connecting, but need the password, but openwrt wrote first time install the password is blank
how I connecting my router?
what is the default ssh password, and why doesn't connect simple telnet?

I am sorry but I have not enough experience with OpenWrt firmware
I installed the alternatve offer coming from DDWRT
I suggest to you to reinstall the patched firmware by NeDark that I provided before and try to use DDWRT

I write the steps
install my pc the mindnight commadner, easy copy to bin my router
and the ssh connect command is : ssh root@192.168.1.1
I copy the LEDE project file to the /tmp map
and
cd /tmp
  mtd write LEDE.bin firmware
  reboot

and welcome luci, I am very happy

Hi, modzsi, I like to know if you finally get install: mwan3 + luci-app-mwan3 and how you do

I am trying to install this now, but having the issue not having room for luci. I tried to grab the link from shalzz95, but the link is dead. Could you be so kind to reupload it? Or does anyone else have it around?

There is now a LEDE release build for the WR841 v11.  This build includes LuCI but being a 4 MB flash chip won't have room to install much else.  There are factory files for various markets and a sysupgrade file in this directory.  Once you are running OpenWrt use the same sysupgrade for any country version.

You can also look in the LEDE community build forum-- there are some builds which cram in OpenVPN etc. at the expense of removing other packages.
