Hi,

if I would like to go back to the original stock firmware of TP Link, the documentation says, that I only should use a firmware file with "boot" in the filename.

TP Link doesn't offer a firmware named with boot. Which firmware would you suggest to flash on the device to get back to the original stock firmware?

kind regards
Axel

Nope, the image actually must NOT have boot in the filename.

And how can I flash the image? Simply by using mtd -r write /tmp/original_firmware.bin firmware ?

Yes but not the way you write it, there is more lines to add
I link you to 2 links where you find bootless firmwares http://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=revert
In this thread you will see the mtd- process if you don't find your file in those 2 links http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/vi … amp;t=4816
