Topic: mp3-jukebox

Hi,
at the moment I've an old pc with a small lcd-display as my mp3-jukebox. It has a small board, but it's still kinda big... Now I thought I could use a router, since it's small and has everything I need:
- 150mhz is enough to decode mp3s
- my display can be connected through a serial port
- there are cheap usb-soundcards
- a harddrive can be connected through usb, too

What I want to ask: has anyone ever tried that? Do you have any concerns? I think a dsl-router is cheaper than buying embedded hardware, isn't it?

Thanks for your help,
Carsten
