Topic: Router suddenly unreachable

Hi,
in the middle of the evening my router Archer C7 v1.0 become unreachable both via WiFi and Eth.
The power led is on.
The system led (snowflake) is on
The ethernet led of connected cable is on
Other leds are off.

What I did:
- restart
- connected one PC via eth
at this point Windows tries to identify the network without success (Unidentified network)
- I then tried failsafe without success (Unidentified network)

What else could I try?

Step forward.
The router is in failsafe mode (snowflake led blinking rapidly)
I gave PC static IP 192.168.1.101 and now Windows connect to the router private network and I can ping the router 192.168.1.1

But if I browse http://192.168.1.1/ I get connection refused.

Sure, I can't use browser in failsafe mode, my fault.
I can telnet 192.168.1.1 but now I'm not sure what to do.

In fail safe mode I tried "mount_root" and then "firstboot". The prompt goes to a new line and blinks but it seems that the router is stuck there.

Since

firstboot

didn't work I did:

root@(none):/# mtd -r erase rootfs_data
Unlocking rootfs_data ...
Erasing rootfs_data ...
Rebooting ...

And now the router is factory resetted.
