Hi all, new to the forum and OpenWRT in general

I was able to install OpenWRT onto my WNDR3400, I got the webGUI installed, and the wireless 'working' but only the 802.11bg protocol. 802.11a doesn't work, and more importantly, neither does 802.11n. I used ssh and opkg install brcmsmac which seemed to install correctly, but that did not help solve my problem either.

Any advice for a noob?

That is to be expected; there are no open drivers for the wifi chips it has.

I have a couple of V2's and wifi is not possible at all, on either band.  Still it is useful for wired applications.

I did some tinkering and got bgn to show up under my radio0. But my speed for my computer is 1.0 Mbps or fluctuates up and down. my speed tests are horrible. I've enabled WMM and disabled it both to no avail
