I have a development board running openwrt 14.07 on AR9331.

I downloaded the latest source (15.05), trying to cross compile a helloworld executable for the development board.

The compilation was successful. Then I copied the helloworld executable to the board, but it didn't run, with errors saying "helloworld was not found".

I am new to openwrt. My question is, does an executable compiled with 15.05 toolchain run on a board running 14.07 openwrt?
