hello openwrt fans

I currently have gargoyle up and running however would like to try openwrt. What do I need to set daily quota limits in openwrt?

Gargoyle is actually (not so up to date) version of openwrt with qos scripts (and so on), so you are trying openwrt right now :-) Some of the gargoyle scripts are quite complex.

You cant daily quota limits in openwrt! If you want the things that Gargoyle can do you will have to stick to Gargoyle mate.

I was under the impression that one can program the iptable?

In the kernel iptable which basic OpenWrt has, you can only program a bandwidth limit.  Tracking and limiting daily GB totals requires a program in user space.

Thanks for the update. Since this feature  is a must I will keep gargoyle. Take care.
