Topic: power off on tp-link 1043

Is it safe to just turn the power off on this router power cable,
as on every other wireless router? Or should I log in and do
shutdown like it is regular computer?

You can just pull the plug.  OpenWrt very seldom writes to the flash, and doesn't leave files open.
