Has anybody tried using Compex WP54-WRT? It recently supported Open-WRT as claimed on the website http://compex.com.sg/home/OEM/Open_wrt.htm. I was looking for a Open-WRT AP and this looks like a good brand. I have been using Compex WP54 1B, therefore I would like to try this. Anybody has any ideas?

and from the their company
http://www.compex.com.sg/home/Datasheet … DSv3.4.pdf
this information should be enuf for the reference. .
Is it possible today, making a new Openwrt firmware for wp54?
I need to install new packages which already have been backported to OpenWrt (WebIf included), add new WebIf-based pages, and making my own firmware to automate the installation.
I don't know OpenWrt Kamikaze buildsystem, because till yesterday I just worked with OpenWrt Whiterussian.
Thanks you

I beliv the website that i've mentioned before provide sufficient information about what u need.
http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Har … mpex/WP54G
and there are 2 version of WP54 that support Open-WRT, they also provide the guide on how to convert to WRT and also what not to do. So i think they provide us with sufficient information.
If u find any difficulty u can also find me, since i tried the WRT and successful n i dont find anyproblem till now.
