Hi all
I hope it will work like a charm and do not hesitate to report me your problems, suggestions ...

Hi,

Could you compile a static version of this binary?

When I try to run irssi it says:

~ # ./irssi
./irssi: can't load library 'libgmodule-2.0.so.0'

and since I'm running hyperwrt (I want to keep web interface) I can't write anywhere else than /tmp

Ok I'll compile a static version because glib2 is very big actually.

Thanks smile. You probably post a link to the static version after you have compiled it, right?

Looks like the files are same size.

Static:
4c9cb61b3fcf6f28ff1ec7be8c7d4e30  irssi

Dynamic:
4c9cb61b3fcf6f28ff1ec7be8c7d4e30  irssi

Oops wink

Should work now. I don't know what does irssi calls statically compiled because my irssi still ask for glibs

Doesn't work for me sad

Same stuff here. sad

Try this one (linked with glib1 - not static .. but working)

http://gerdi.racken.de/irssi_0.8.9-1_mipsel.ipk
or checkout openwrt head cvs version ... it is in there ;)

Have A Nice Chat!
(libncurses and glib1 is needed!)

Excellent! Thanks!

Thank you!

Could you compile it ipv6 aware? smile

Hope to hear from you.

@ ripurapu

How to install those packages in hyperwrt?

doesnt the 'with proxy' versions work with RC5?

if not, can you make a RC5 version?

I tried to compile only the proxy module but failed (due to my lack of knowledge I suppose). Bumping up this thread so people know there's still need for irssi proxy.
