Hi i have la fonera with openwrt kamikaze and i have some problem to set start up in client mode.
In /etc/config/wireless the mode is set to "sta" .

When the boot is complete i write in the console:

iwconfig ath0 essid mynetwork
iwconfig ath0 key s:********
ifconfig ath0 10.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0
route add default gw 10.0.0.250

and then is all ok,but i can't set the fonera in automatic mode,i want that when the fonera start-up the configuration is already set.
And i can't set my ath0 in dhcp when is in client mode

Another problem is the bridge mode...  this is my situation:
______                               ______
|         |                             |         |            -----------------
| Fon   |--wireless - - - - - - |d-link |--cable--| Modem adsl |
|_____|                             |_____|             -----------------
    |
  cable

How can i set my fon to use it in bridge mode??

help please!!
Thanks.

ps:sorry for my "Italian" english :-)

Setup lan interface as 'bridge' in /etc/network...

This client mode entry is now in the OpenWrt Wiki:
Visit Meltyblood's site for more Openwrt/Legend firmware upgrades: http://fon.testbox.dk
1. Read the instructions and get the tar.gz package from here- http://fon.testbox.dk/packages/NEW/LEGE … entscript/

That's it. The package of scripts self-installs and will ask you questions to configure your wired and wireless connections. Your current configuration will be backed up and can be restored with the "aprestore" command. Type in "clientmode" after installation to configure client mode. This is currently the easiest and most complete means of having client mode on an Atheros router. These scripts are incompatible with firmwares that use NVRAM. They are included in the Legend Rev4.5 firmware, which will soon be released on the site.
