WGT634U  r 6580 or r6596 will not recover on power off or reboot
(Blowout on brcm47xx-2.6)
Linux OpenWrt 2.6.19

had to use CFE serial cable to flash r6513 to recover my WGT634U, it's a real pain in the ASS to do a flash with CFE, I've done this about six times now, and six rebuilds and two fresh svn rebuilds on r6596.

on r6580  or r6596 it just continues to boot  never had problems with gcc 3.4.6, I could nerver get 4.1.2 to work

I'm using 6580 and it's working great. Try a 'make clean' to get rid of any old junk that may be killing your build. I do that whenever a big change comes out (like changing gcc versions).

r6595 is working great for me (I think better than ever - but I haven't used it for long yet)

(other than a strange network scripts problem I haven't yet tracked down)

you guys can recover on a Netgear WGT634U I'm using all defaults now .

I'm doing a total fresh SVN rebuild now! AGAIN!

Same problem here. Just started from scratch. Should be done in about an hour.

Well it works like a charm now

WGT634U  Will not recover r6596 (2.6 Kernel, GCC 4.1.2) all defaults in config file, the SVN is completely new load.
brcm47xx-2.6
Have to reload image r6513 it seems to work OK

But r6596 looks like it's broke , Ill rebuild with gcc 3.4.6

Today I'll try r6600 kernel 2.6 for the WGT634U all defalts in config file and total new SVN, clear packages and kamikaze files, remove everything.

Used CFE to Flash image openwrt-wgt634u-2.6-squashfs.bin to WGT634U

it worked this time r6605 have not tired the openwrt-brcm47xx-2.6-squashfs.trx using mtd
