do either of your builds have the 5g wifi slowdown issue fixed or is that waiting on better ath10k support? thanks
Wondering this as well.

Hi i want to know can the TP-Link TL-WR1043ND be use as a repeater with an external wifi adapter such as the alfa tube-u(n)?
If i put the alfa adapter in the usb port and get the rt2800 kmod-drivers will it be possible to use the TP-Link TL-WR1043ND as a repeater as how the alfa r36 does? Please reply thanks because i want to buy the TP-Link TL-WR1043ND.

Can you build with new version of OpenWrt ? Thanks.
FYI, 43222 was posted two weeks ago.
Yeah i checked the dl link and see the new version. But the first post is not updated.
hello
would it possible to add a transmission?
thanks
Top post updated with 43416.
Hope to have a new build soon with fix: r43587, regression in routing / NAT speed since AA.
upgraded to latest bb version available via top post, but logs says:
Linux version 3.10.49 (martijn@martijn-HP-dc7800) (gcc version 4.8.3 (OpenWrt/Linaro GCC 4.8-2014.04 r43222)
instead of 43416
You didn't accidentally click on the wrong branch of the dl dir?
I have double checked it. Image was from latest version of branch.

That is the revision when the gcc compiler was compiled, not the version of the firmware ifself.
version 4.8.3 (OpenWrt/Linaro GCC 4.8-2014.04 r43222)
If there have been no changes to compiler options, it might not get re-compiled for several weeks. (make clean does not clean the toolchain.)

Is there a way to get a running version info?
cat /etc/openwrt_release
43737 is up.
Trying to flash openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wdr4300-v1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin but get this message. Whats wrong, what should I do?
"The uploaded image file does not contain a supported format. Make sure that you choose the generic image format for your platform."
Model TP-Link TL-WDR4300 v1
Firmware Version OpenWrt by mk13139 r40420 / LuCI Trunk (svn-r9964)

md5 is correct?
Quick question that may make my other questions moot: Does this custom build support WNDR3700v4? I may have missed it in the OP. Thanks!
Anyone else has problems with: 591594dc033b3d808fbee4797aa849ea *openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043nd-v1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin? Ticked to use the current settings.
Mine seems bricked. pwr led is glowing and connected port led is twinkling.
*EDIT*
Soldered pins on JTAG & used u-boot/tftp to restore it with success. Tried to flash the image above again and it worked fine. Checked md5 both times and it showed the correct value.

Is is OK'ish or just plain bad?
Yes its correct.
Can you try upgrade via telnet and sysupgrade?
Me helped only 30/30/30 reset before sysupgrade on 1043nd
I will try that.
Should I be able to do a restore of my backup configuration files wit no problems if I do a sysupgrade via telnet?

Sure. Don't forget to make backup first.
