This does boot and activates wifi but within a minute or two it reboots.....

No, I tried a couple of times but there wasn't enough time to get into the menu.
Well it's hard to say if it booted completely. It did bring up the webinterface, wifi and the normal network. I did get an ipnumber over the LAN. But as said....not enough time to get onto it and grab the log

I think it might have run out of memory. If you got an IP address and wifi worked then it came up but something triggered a reboot. Latest builds are quite fat with two openvpn instances and ipsec. I'll make a build without strongswan.

Anyways, looks like CONFIG_SOFT_FLOAT indeed stopped it from booting and that bodes well for the Archer build.

I built for the v1 as well, confirmed working on my trusty old 3700v1.

Flashed r46335 (sysupgrade) on my wndr3700 V1. Flashed without any problems (settings not saved). Logged into Luci with default username & password OK. Went to restore configuration file saved before flashing and I could not restore my configuration. Tried many times, same result, router appeared to flash configuration file, router reset, configuration at default. Flashed back to r46192 and flashed my configuration file. Now all my settings are restored.

It did flash and boot on my WNDR3700V2
However, it reverted to the default wifi-password and it failed to get an ipnumber on the wan-interface.

There is barely any space left, probably issues writing the config files. I'm trimming down the profile after removal of ipsec, will provide a new build soon.

You are not supposed to keep settings, always flash cleanly. Re-do your settings manually or through an UCI script.

Do you have a link to how to make a UCI script? I am always injecting my own settings, but a nice UCI script would be way better

The change in portmap and NFS has solved my NFS problems by the way, forgot to mention that, but I now removed the reload  command from the startup script.

Do you know of any way to add a special user to one specific directory for the sftp server? As far as I have gathered it is impossible, but I might be wrong.
