For flashing the image to nand i used a previously compiled ramdisk image which i still found at my server from an old trunk. So will there be a ramdisk image in AA12.09 in future, too?

I also need asterisk on that board. Well, meanwhile i know that there are some issues with uclibc 0.9.33 and asterisk at mikrotik hw (http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=32187&start=100#p315601 & https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/10974). Will there be a runing version in the future?

Will AA12.09 offer a repos with eglib precompile images and packages?

I was worried for a second when net filter was not working with the generic x86 beta. Turns
out that adjusting the compile flags for my specific processor (Pentium 4) as well as adjusting
the target processor in the kernel menu did the trick.

Aside from that I'm impressed with the performance and spare a call trace at boot and another holdup
with some packages from the feed not wanting to install with the tweaked kernel. Its looking good.

A quick question tho, should I submit my bugs to Trac? or are these to be considered bumps in the road
that will sort themselves out?

I'm mostly doing educated guesses here: The throughput will likely be low, and you will probably see random reboots when the router runs out of memory, even in normal usage scenarios.

You want the squashfs one. The jffs2 one is bigger (this less free space), does not support resetting settings, and is only needed for working/debugging/developing the boot scripts.

Successfully installed it in a ASUS WL500W router. With the small exception I am still getting dropped wireless when using an atheros card in the router (I replaced the factory card), it runs well.

Asus WL-500g deluxe successfully upgraded from DD-WRT 2.4 using web upgrade interface. Everything works except 1 big annoyance, wifi randomly turns off. I need to reset router or connect using cable and re-enable wifi. I am experiencing this problem with 10.x build also.

I whould have done DD-WRT --> Stock firmware --> OpenWRT.
I this is not your case, I'd do that, just in case.

Hi i successfully upgraded my WRT160NL. As i am using some rsync processes to transfer my backup i had a lot of problems and breakdown with the ath9k driver. First tests with Attitude Adjustmend indicate that the connection is by far more reliable.

I reflashed with original firmware, then flashed back 12.09 still no luck, wifi is droping same as in 10.x. In luci i see wifi adapter enabled but signal is 0dbm. When i scan network for wifi networks my AP is not showing up (looks like it doesnt broadcast).

I've installed AA on my TP-Link WA-901NDv2. Few days ago, I've noticed that .11n mode is extra unstable. No matter how heavy or small load is ... It just keeps disconnecting randomly. Tested with some smartphones and PlayStation Vita. Right now, I've switched mode to .11g and problem is gone ...

I wonder what kind of problem is this? driver? wrong default configuration?

eshield: PS Vita is know to totally fail with 11n APs, there's not much you can do about it.

....and yet it works perfect with a factory firmware. Yes, in .11n mode. Without any troubles. I always have Vita with me ... accessed a lot of .11n APs. No problems so far, except AA. If you read my msg carefully, I wrote not only Vita but about other devices too which experiencing the same problem.

P.S: my advice is not to copy-cat other's words who doesn't have Vita as well.
